Amelia is Legal Counsel Security at Knorr-Bremse, a global leader in safety-critical systems for the rail and automotive industries. She advises the company on the legal side of product and corporate cybersecurity, translating EU legislation, including the CRA, NIS2, the AI Act and the revised Product Liability Directive, into practical decisions for complex systems. Active in CEN/CENELEC standardisation and railway industry groups, she helps influence how legal requirements become technical reality. She is also completing a PhD at the University of London on how these frameworks interact in critical infrastructure, specifically railways, and brings that research into dialogue with industry practice.
